>>Posting: Posting is one of the many ways you can naturally earn money on Gaia. You can post anywhere in the Gaia forums and even meet friends while doing it, AND it can help you get rich! But please, don't bump anywhere except your own threads when you're bored and in bumping contests, otherwise it's considered SPAMMING which is against Gaia's ToS!<<

>>Commenting: Make people feel wanted by commenting on their profiles. You can just normally comment, or you can start a discussion through commenting, which earns you more gold. Also, forwarded comments help, all though some people HATE them. I've made up to 2k on commenting alone in one day!<<

>>Rating: Some people, like me, are addicted to rating in the arenas for hours at a time, and some people, like me, make good money doing it! Up to 3k a day!<<

>>Contests: If you are good at anything, enter a contest. Whether it's an avatar, drawing, writing, or banner contest (there are more I was just listing examples), there is always PRIZE MONEY! I won my first 10k doing a writing contest and my second 10k doing a drawing-a-ninja contest!<<

>>Mini Shops: Create a shop in the mini-shops forums. You can sell just about anything ranging from drawings of avatars, personal requests, banners, and profile layouts. If you are a very good artist, you might make big Gaia money drawing some rich peoples avatars, like I did.<<

>>Be wise with your money: The whole concept of "I want it NOW" and "I'm gonna get it FIRST!" are ruining some Gaian's online experience. Half of the time, when you buy something right when it comes out in the Marketplace, you are buying it a high price! This goes ESPECIALLY for E.Is! Some people are so eager and are wanting something right when it comes out, that they'll sell some good items to get it. For example, Kottan Bell! Some recent additions to the new Kottan Bell have created a havoc in the Gaia Community. Girls are buying this item like crazy! And they're making a HUGE mistake! The price is around 350k (this is of course going to change but I'm just giving an example), but what do you think it'll be in a couple days or a couple of weeks? That's right ladies, around 200k! Prices never go up by 200k for more than a month unless it's a super expensive item that not even I can afford like the Ninja Band! I'm sure it wouldn't kill you to wait a month to buy the item you really want. But don't wait too long, that is another mistake Gaians make. For example, the Reverse Panda Hat. Cool right? YES. It started off at 200k! Bad! Then it went down to 60K! Awesome! Then it blasted up to a near 400k! Horrible! Smart people wait til they think the item is at its lowest price, and that's when they buy it! Be one of the those smart people!<<

Beberapa Tips Bagi Calon Pendaftar Siswa Baru

Masa Ujian Nasional (UN) telah selesai dijalani. Pengumuman kelulusanpun telah diterima. Satu langkah maju telah telah diambil. Yaah … Lega sekali rasanya …

Eit, tapi tunggu dulu, masih ada satu langkah yang harus di tempuh “nyari sekolah baru buat ngelanjutin”. Yang mau kuliah sih sebagian dah pada daftar dari kemarin-kemarin, dah ketrima malah.

Buat yang mau ngelanjutin ke tingkat SMA (SMP juga), terutama yang di kotanya dah menggunakan sistem online, berikut beberapa hal yang perlu diperhatikan agar tidak salah langkah :

1. Cari informasi tentang nilai rata-rata, nilai tertinggi maupun terendah dari sekolah lain, bandingkan dengan nilai UN yang kamu peroleh.
2. Beli formulir pendaftaran, usahakan untuk dua atau tiga pilihan (sekolah). Ini berarti posisi kamu sudah aman, nggak kuatir lagi bakal kehabisan formulir.
3. Tak perlu buru-buru untuk mengembalikan formulir pendaftaran, kecuali kalo kamu benar-benar yakin bakal diterima pada sekolah yang kamu inginkan. Akan lebih baik kalo formulir dikembalikan satu atau dua hari menjelang penutupan pendaftaran, sambil kita pantau perkembangan rangking nilai yang diterima di sekolah yang bersangkutan. Di sini kamu bisa menentukan sekolah mana sebagai pilihan pertama, kedua, ataupun ketiga.
4. Jangan sekali-kali mencabut pendaftaran bila kita tidak diterima pada pilihan pertama, berkas akan dikirim oleh ke sekolah pilihan kedua/ketiga kalo kita diterima di sana. Untuk kota-kota tertentu, kita hanya diperbolehkan mendaftar sekali saja. Kalo dicabut berarti kita gak diterima di semua sekolah negeri di kota itu. Bahaya kan? Sekali lagi, cermati aturan mainnya.
5. Tak perlu memaksakan diri untuk diterima di sekolah tertentu kalo kita memang tidak bisa memenuhi kriteria yang dipersyaratkan. Tidak perlu menempuh jalan yang tidak baik ataupun lewat pintu belakang. Orang tua perlu menanamkan kejujuran dengan memberikan contoh yang baik, jangan malah sebaliknya. Jangan lupa, inilah pendidikan moral yang sesungguhnya.
6. Berdoa dengan sungguh-sungguh disertai ikhtiar/usaha yang baik.

Oke, itulah sekedar tips bagi calon siswa baru maupun bagi orang tua yang akan mendaftarkan putera-puterinya ke bangku sekolah yang lebih tinggi. Semoga bermanfaat.
